engagements are awesome and all, 

but nothing makes it more exciting than when it involves three of your dear friends.

i sure did; i was able to spend it with a bunch of awesome people that God has brought into my life. technically i had two thanksgiving's this year, one with some family friends and one with my sunday school class/ bible study group.

 so thankful for all of these people!

now, i am currently sitting at home, in the floor of my room, recovering from a nasty stomach bug (one that came in like a wrecking ball-see what i did there?- around three thirty sunday morning.) and working on a paper.

being sick is the pits, especially when there is vomiting involved. but i am much better today (by much better i mean no more puking) but not 100%.

oh well.

again, i hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving!

hi friends!!!!! hope you're thanksgiving was awesome.

i'll have another post soon with some picture from thanksgiving weekend. fair warning though. i may not post for a while: shocker i know. but i have finals coming up and it's kinda stressful. but after finals i'll hopefully be better!!!!!

alyse and i spent the day in bluffton and hilton head today.

we went to see the three musketeers........in 3D.

oh flipping poo.......it was AWESOME.

i can't stand how great it was.

this lovely dude, Matthew Macfayden, was in it,

which made me super excited because

i LOVED LOVED LOVED HIM as mr darcy in the newer pride and prejudice.

also this attractive kid was in it.

logan lerman.

most would associate him with that percy jackson movie that i never saw.

i associate him with HOOT.

he has grown up since then...and is very handsome.
i loved him in the movie.

then we decided to be super cool and take some pictures after the movie....

when i see something in three dimension, this is how i usually go through the movie.

lifting my classes up and down so stuff doesn't fly in my face.

yeah. fun day. awesome movie. strange girls. this is what we do when we have fall break.

we MAKE a day. yeah.....

free is good. free coffee is ten times better.

today calls for two posts.......

the girl that works at the starbucks at school.

today, because of fall break, she closed early, but gave us some free coffee since she would have to pour what was left over out anyways. and do you know what is even better then the free part?

I GOT A VENTI SIZE FREE COFFEE.

what are you thankful for?

i am thankful for God allowing the cold crisp weather to FINALLY make an appearance in this southern town.

i'm thankful for my mother letting me go on walks at night in the cold crisp air.

i'm thankful for friends who come along on these cold, crisp night-walks.

i'm thankful for the fellowship that good friends have together.

i'm thankful for reminiscing about old memories.
